wow... MOE called me today to see if i still want to go for the interview...

It's supposed to be today, but didnt receive the notification letter, so I just assumed that they knew that I've aldy accepted ADM so they didnt want to interview me anymore...

And today I find out that it's supposed to be at 1030am O_o


It's really tempting... Cuz NIE has a scholarship programme so I dont have to pay any sch fees and get a mthly allowance for two yrs... And being an art teacher means I get to pick up more disciplines, instead of specializing in animation like I would if i were in ADM... And the scholarship is paid back w a bond, which ensures that I would have a job for 4 yrs at least.

And i know now teachers' pay quite high one.

Argghh... plus i know some people wanted the interview but they didnt have the opportunity, so it seemed like such a waste to throw it away. Wish I could give this interview to someone else!!! >.<>.< it's so tempting... though it's only an interview, not acceptance la...

Why I want to go ADM:
-Love art, anw nth much else I can do. =.= maths, sciences, humanities... urgh.
-The building v nice, the people seems nice...
-Wants to work in the art field in future
-I like the modules, foundational drawing in first yr seems fun.
-I've been like stressing over and tearing my hair out over art during O lvls and A lvls, yet missing it after it's done, HAHA, for some weird reason. Maybe I could start over the process at ADM :D
-Some friends got in w me, so i'll have ppl i know there :D
-If i really feel like teaching after everything... I can just go to NIE and study for another year.

Why NIE seems better: -
Got scholarship
-High starting pay, plus there're less art teachers arnd than say, maths and science teachers, so i think maybe the pay is even higher...
-I dont have to worry about paying fees all that for years!!! Not like now!!!! >.<

But... a deg at NIE is only worthy for a teaching job and I'm not sure if i want to be stuck teaching for the rest of my life =.=


Aiya. I know I'll stay in ADM anw :) I wanted to get in for so long, and the acceptance letter is flapping away in front of me on the whiteboard where my mum clipped it :D

And and and! youth olympics in 20(forgot) and they're taking up space in ntu's hostels! wth!! It'll be more difficult than ever to get a room. =.= can't they like... live in hotel or smth.. :(
